Chickun Shreds

If purchased frozen, defrost shreds in the refrigerator for 24 hours prior to cooking. Optionally, you can defrost them in a marinade (if not pre-marinated) to add extra flavor and save a step later!

Heat 1-2 Tbsp of vegetable oil in non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add shreds to pan and cook for 6-8 mins, turning often until hot throughout.

This method works best with a marinade to avoid drying out the shreds.
1. Marinate thawed shreds for 30 minutes at room temperature or 2 hours in the refrigerator.
2. Preheat grill to medium high.
3. Skewer marinated shreds or use a grill pan.
4. Set the skewers on the grill or grill pan and sear, undisturbed, for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until grill marks appear.
5. Flip and repeat. Remove from the heat.

This method works best with a coating of cooking oil sprayed onto the shreds to aid in browning. You may also add seasonings or sauces.
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
2. Place shreds onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and lightly spray with oil.
3. Cook for 10 to 14 minutes, turning halfway, until the product browns and heats to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) (time may vary depending on your oven size).
